The purpose of this paper is to focus on English training in the post-communist countries, such as Vietnam and Laos. I tried to find out and compare the situations and difficulties of English training in these countries.  As I predicated, the current situations, achievements and difficulties are same not only in these two countries, but also their conditions and difficulties are as same as ours.
