Abstract: This work is focused on determination specific radioactivity of ²³⁸U, ²³²Th, ⁴⁰K in soil samples and effective equivalent dose around Tamsag^’s oil field 19, 21of area in Mongolia by using the HP-Ge gamma-spectrometer. The results were compared to the world mean value, Western and Central region of Mongolia.

It has been showed that, dose of  ²³⁸U  was 1.7gr/t, ²³²Th was 3.8gr/t, ⁴⁰K was 2.6% respectively. On the basis of these data, dose of  ²³⁸U and ²³²Th is less,  ⁴⁰K  is more than world mean value of radioactivity. In addition, there is  no isotope of ¹³⁷Cs in contaminated and renewed soil.
