In 1912 or the Second year of “Olnoo Urgugdsun”, the famous god icon’s painter Jugder painted the plan picture of Ikh Khuree by the order of the Bogd Khan which is including its territory, lifestyle of the people and the design of temples and monasteries and the urbanization that is mentioned in the autobiography of the VIII Bogd Jebtsundamba Khutuktu.

Painter Jugder was very famous god icon’s painter in Ikh Khuree so he was doing a great role for Mongolian new fine art and its development after the independent of 1911. So, his “Capital Khuree” painting is used incorrect perspective and it was depicting all of its cities, including Zuun Khuree, The Monastry of Gandantegchilen, Eastern and Western Damnuurchin, Russian Consule, city of Maimaa, the Palaces of Bogd Khan, The Monastry of Dambadarjaalin, Dashchoinkhor, Shaduvlin and Manzushir. And also, according to the research, its plan description, geographical location of the river channels and mountains are really similar of the modern Ulan–Bator city`s plan description. Therefore, the painting is historical significance for the geographical description.

        “Ikh Khuree” is the widely recognized painting about urbanization and nature of Mongol Zurag and its description, multi-point perspective, color coordination and the composition was very unique. And also, it was one of the most wonderful artistic creation which is influenced for the historical research of architecture and urbanization of Mongolia.
