Өгүүллийн хураангуй: The mid 1940s witnessed the appearance of sports tourism in Mongolia and types of active sports tourism, namely, skiing, skating, cycling, moto-tourism, hiking, camel and horseback travel, sport hunting and mountaineering started to develop until late 1980s. Establishment of private tour organizations in Mongolia has itself introduced active sports tourism products into the market economy since early 1990s. Sports tourism has been an important part of Mongolian tourism market by relating to characteristics of Mongolian geography, nature and nomadic civilization. So we have tried to make research on tour programs offered by Mongolian tour operators, types of active tourism, which are developing in Mongolia and tour regions of the country.
