Өгүүллийн хураангуй: In the modern world, society requires students to be self-dependent, decisive, self-confident, collaborative and adaptive students who can function in today’s society. Using this research, to learn more about social media and its application in the classroom to create a more interesting and effective environment helps create a new effective method to teach students to function well in today’s standards. Applying Facebook and other social media formats, to show real life examples and bring additional information to the class yielded results which showed a beneficial result to the classroom environment. The research concluded that social media usage in the classroom, within context of the research, showed results that it can be effectively used in both primary schools and higher education for both students and teachers. In the future teachers should be effectively applying new methods and new technology to improve the classroom.
