Learning English needs some kind of motivation and feeling rewarded. It is necessary to know the progress of our students in learning English while at the same time we can give them some feedback and encouragement during the process of learning. By reading students’ diaries we can do both. The students will be motivated to write their diaries in English when the teachers are supportive towards what the students have endeavored and give them some kind of reward when they make some achievement.
