Abstract: This work is focused on determination specific
radioactivity of 238U, 232Th, 40K in soil
samples and effective equivalent dose around Tamsag’s oil field 19, 21of area in Mongolia by using the
HP-Ge gamma-spectrometer. The results were compared to the world mean value, Western and
Central region of Mongolia. It has been showed that, dose of 238U
was 1.7gr/t,
232Th was 3.8gr/t, 40K was 2.6% respectively. On the
basis of these data, dose of 238U
and 232Th is less, 40K is more than world mean value of
radioactivity. In addition, there is no
isotope of 137Cs in contaminated and renewed soil.
