MOOC and OER in English learning and teaching

Өгүүллийн хураангуй: It
aims to explore educational resources such as Massive Open Online Courses
(MOOCs) and Open Educational Resources (OER) in English language learning and
teaching. Also it recommends some major useful and reliable resources to learn
and teach English to teachers or learners. Several skills and features need to
be in place for a learner to be successful in a MOOC such as digital literacy,
English language proficiency, a learning structure, an effective delivery
environment, a perception of the value of learning, and critical literacies so
as to evaluate large quantities of information. Briefly, MOOCs and OER can be
used to improve both self-competence and professional competence of English
language teachers in Mongolian context. Key
