Өгүүллийн хураангуй: The authors analyzed the essays submitted by 143 students during the Olympiad in 2014. The purpose was to identify the most common areas where mistakes are made, with a view to re-focusing tuition on those areas in the future. A large proportion of mistakes were in Grammar, and those mistakes were spread across a wide  variety of types of error. One specific mistake that stood out was a general inability to write in paragraphs.That made it difficult to follow the logic in the essays and was the reason for students indulging in unnecessary repetition of their points. The inability to write in paragraphs was also a symptom of a lack of logical flow in the essays.
