It explains the background of the implementation of the new curriculum of professional didactics and its impacts on teacher education. Also, it reviews the professional documents. There is a great demand to integrate the theory on reform of quality teaching with the teacher education and it’s policies according to the project implemented by National Government in Mongolia. With a national focus on raising achievement for all students, we have been involved in didactics curriculum reform, because it’s aim is to tie the reform to the international teacher education trends, national peculiarities and other key factors. We reviewed the policy documents including the syllabus and curriculum of a school which prepares teachers.

The vital importance of the curriculum reform is the fact that it transmitted from “content-based” methodology to “competency based” methodology. This paper contains practical examples of  how the curriculum has effectively to provide students opportunities that begin with expressing their opinions, creating knowledge, solving problems throughout working with information, doing research, and making analysis to the information in order to improve their self independence skill.

To be implemented the curriculum reform; we are expecting the following outcomes:

-       There can be positive differences to the learner strategies of self-study, using information, solving problems, as a result of organizing the information technology lesson as project based learning.

-       Students are learning to make judgments for their own study through the experiment of two sided (cooperative) way of assessment.

-       Experimenting ICT based training, there is an improvement to  an attitude of a student-teacher who can provide education with new generation.
